The Armchair Soldier

Welcome to my blog. I am The Armchair Soldier, an enthusiast of the British Armed Forces. This blog will contain news and discussion relating to the British Armed Forces, all of which will be written from the perspective of me, an Armchair Soldier.

I was born and raised in Dewsbury in the heart of West Yorkshire, England. At the age of 18, I found I had a keen interest in the British Armed Forces. At every spare moment I had, I would always find myself reading up news stories or information on the British Forces and it's equipment, personnel, strategies and operations. I am aware that a lot of the press and media in the UK is very cynical and has a habit of casting a shadow of negativety over almost every news story regarding UK defence and security. You will not find the same at this blog.

You may recollect my name from other parts of the internet. On YouTube I operate a channel dedicated to the British Armed Forces, where I upload all of my tributes and music videos. I have also signed up to a few defence forums and discussion boards and tried to make a name for myself there.
